The One That Was Lost

There was a time in her life,

In the air, she was floating.

Between the past and the future.

It never occurred to her that she would survive.

Being alive no longer has meaning,

She couldn’t see the big picture.

She was drowning in the sea of sorrow,

With her back pierced by an arrow,

Like there will be no tomorrow.

Even when she was floating,

She could feel something was pulling,

Pulling her deeper and felt the darkness growing.

Darkness has swallowed.

All she could do was letting herself gets swallowed.

And the fear within herself followed.

Darkness revolves around her,

Only the sound of nature can be heard,

The ones she couldn’t conquer.

She was aware,

She wasn’t alone that she prepared.

Fighting the darkness within, she couldn’t bear.

She has the eager to run,

If she wants to see another sun,

Preparation must be done.

But there was a light amongst the gloom,

The brightest of the night, the prettiest moon,

There was time for her to bloom.

She felt ashamed,

That she had felt left behind, she explained.

That she realized, The Almighty will find her, she will be aimed.

“And He found you lost and guided (you)”

[Ad-Dhuha 93:7]

He found her lost,

In the land of the lost, stranded on the coast,

When she needed Him the most.

She believes in kindness and positivity, which is why she has a certain color to her writing. The colors that turns sadness and sorrow into hope and smile. ♡
