29 days have passed, it’s truly unbelievable. The 30 Days writing challenge will be over soon. I’ve learned many things from this winding journey, one of which is how to maintain my writing commitment, to maintain consistency in the quality of my writing. I challenge myself every day, yes, I challenge myself to write. I got in this community because of a good friend of mine, Viona. This is the second time she’s joining the challenge and she dragged me with her. After all, this is a writing challenge, and to be frank, this is pretty challenging. This is the first time I dedicate a few hours each day to write, even within a month. There are always problems, obstacles and even excuses. One day I felt excited, one day I felt tired, lazy, or didn’t have time to catch up and write at all.

Of all squad members, I as a new member, was always late to submit my writings. Sometimes it caused concern to Scout Squad’s guardian mother, Kak Ay. She has the warmth and is a very compassionate guardian. Never thought that I would met her and met all of the squad members that are also super dope! Such an extraordinary squad. So no regrets!

Frankly, at first, I thought I was just practicing my writing commitment and maintaining consistency in writing. However, here I found a family who cared about me, sahabat pena, sahabat aksara. It never occurred to me that distance, space and time are not an obstacle for us to meet new friends and even produce such a beautiful art in a form of beautiful and deep words.

Scout Squad family, they’re the ones who always succeed to make me enthusiastic to maintain the fire within myself and to continue this challenge.
Terima kasih, sahabat aksara. ♡
